We are looking for a qualified Direct Sales Manager to join our team. You will be responsible for developing long-term relationships with customers and overseeing sales. As a Direct Sales Manager, you should work to satisfy customers’ needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. You should have excellent communication and negotiation skills and be customer service oriented. Success is measured on closed spend opportunities and expansion spend, new leads, teamwork, and the creation and retention of high spending clients. Ultimately, you should be able to grow our business by building successful, long-term client relationships and to suggest forward-thinking ideas to promote our brand.

Job responsibilities

  • Manage a portfolio of accounts to achieve long-term success
  • Sell Soldo services and solutions
  • Articulate the Soldo value proposition
  • Act as the point of contact and handle customers’ individual needs
  • Generate new business using existing and potential customer networks
  • Communicate with clients at a senior level to resolve issues and inquiries
  • Engage the customer by deliberately linking their business priorities to our value proposition
  • Weekly report on the status of accounts and transactions using a CRM software
  • Set and track sales account targets, aligned with company objectives
  • Monitor sales metrics (e.g. quarterly sales results and annual forecasts)
  • Suggest actions to improve sales performance and identify opportunities for growth
  • Close each opportunity by monitoring end ensuring spend is captured on Soldo cards

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of proven work experience as a Sales in the following markets: Accounting and Payroll Software, Business Credit/Debit Cards, Business Travel and other b2b Financial Services industry
  • Hands on experience in sales and an ability to deliver excellent customer experience
  • Market industry and product knowledge (key competitors, terminology, technology, trends and regulations)
  • Understanding the corporate expenses management and treasury concepts which link to and drive the Soldo value proposition
  • Understanding of sales performance metrics
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to deliver projects and answer inquiries on time
  • Bachelor degree in Business Administration, Marketing or relevant field preferred
  • Ability to work independently while also being a team player with a flexible, winning, positive attitude
  • Knowledge of CRM software (SalesForce)
  • Intermediate to proficient skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint) and Outlook.
